Art Basel has unveiled the details for its 2026 flagship fair in Basel, featuring 290 galleries from 43 countries and the launch of 'Basel Exclusive,' a program requiring exhibitors to reserve major works for an in-person VIP unveiling. The edition includes the Unlimited sector curated by MoMA PS1’s Ruba Katrib and the Parcours public art sector led by Stefanie Hessler of the Swiss Institute. The fair will also introduce the inaugural Art Basel Awards, featuring site-specific commissions at Messeplatz and Münsterplatz.
