Artcurial Reports €208.5 Million in 2025 Sales, Marking 12% Increase and Multiple Records
Artcurial achieved total sales of €208.5 million in 2025, including €15.2 million from Artcurial Beurret Bailly Widmer, marking a 12% increase from 2024. The house conducted 106 auctions, dispersed 123 private collections including the Renault Icons collection that realized €11,630,841, and set 35 price records with 19 lots selling above €1 million. A Guido Reni work sold for €12,386,600 in collaboration with Millon et Associés, while Rembrandt Bugatti’s Roaring Stag Followed by a Doe and Her Fawn achieved €1,079,600. Sixty-six lots were acquired by public institutions, among them Fernand Léger’s 1942 painting purchased for €203,360 by the Fernand Léger Museum in Biot.
The Signal
The results signal sustained collector demand for high-value Post-War and Old Masters works while highlighting Artcurial’s strategy of bolstering departmental leadership and expanding internationally through new agencies. Appointments of experienced vice presidents across 20th Century, Old Masters, and Motorcars divisions position the house to capture further market share in France and abroad. For collectors, the 100% sell-through on major private collections and institutional pre-emptions indicate reliable liquidity and provenance strength in the segments Artcurial dominates.
