Artcurial to Auction Christian Levett and Jean-Jacques Rotthier Antiquities Collections in Paris
Artcurial will host a two-day auction on May 11–12, 2026, featuring the second part of Christian Levett’s ancient arms and armor collection and the Egyptian antiquities of Jean-Jacques Rotthier. The Levett sale includes museum-quality Greek and Roman helmets formerly housed at the Mougins Museum of Classical Art, while the Rotthier collection features a rare Saite Period sarcophagus and Middle Kingdom funerary models. The event will also include Cycladic idols, Islamic textiles, and Mughal manuscripts from various private European collections.
