Bonhams|Cars will offer Mika Häkkinen's 2013 McLaren P1 Coupé Validation Prototype 3 (VP3) at The Monaco Sale 'Les Grandes Marques à Monaco' on 10 May, with an estimate of €1,500,000–2,000,000. The car is one of only seven VP cars built and served as the lead vehicle in the project's durability testing program. It is the only VP ever offered at auction and comes with a special booklet documenting its test history. Häkkinen, a two-time Formula 1 World Champion, also consigned a 1982 Finnkart 85cc SF A1 kart from his childhood, estimated at €3,000–5,000.
