Danielle Mckinney has been named to the inaugural TIME100 Art 2026 list, which recognizes the most influential figures shaping the global art landscape. The announcement was made on September 22, 2026. In addition, Mckinney's painting Haze, 2024, has entered the permanent collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, where it is currently on display, and her painting Moth to a Flame, 2024, has been acquired by the High Museum in Atlanta. Her work is also featured in the travelling group exhibition When We See Us: A Century of Black Figuration in Painting at Liljevalchs, Stockholm, which includes over 155 works by Black artists from 26 countries, on loan from institutions and private collections.
