On June 19, 2026, Inge Mahn’s work features in The Sky Was Candy, a group exhibition at Arter, Istanbul. The show brings together works by 24 artists from the museum’s collection. Inge Mahn’s work is also included in FORCE FIELDS, a new collection presentation at the Kunstmuseum Bonn that transforms the upper floor into a dynamic parcours.

The Signal

The Arter exhibition approaches notions of home and homeland as a living relationship to space, time and memory. At Kunstmuseum Bonn, works from the early modern and postwar periods enter into dialogue with contemporary art across thematic fields from the body and politics to communal rituals, vulnerability, and insights into the microcosm and macrocosm. The dual placements underscore Mahn’s continued institutional visibility in Europe and the Middle East.
