Galerie Max Hetzler Notes KAWS in Hard Edge Show at Kunstmuseum Schloss Derneburg and Albertina Modern Exhibition
On June 17, 2026, Galerie Max Hetzler reported that KAWS’s work is included in the group exhibition HARD EDGE(D) at Kunstmuseum Schloss Derneburg. The show is installed in the museum’s historic Haupteingang and Rittersaal and examines the evolution of hard edge painting over six decades. KAWS is placed at the centre of KAWS. The artist’s solo exhibition KAWS: FAMILY, his first major museum show on the West Coast, opened at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art on November 15, 2025.
