Galerie Max Hetzler: Thomas Struth Receives Soane Honors Award, Featured in LWL-Museum Inaugural Show

On July 30, 2026, Galerie Max Hetzler announced that Thomas Struth has been awarded the Soane Honors Award for Photography. Struth's work is also featured in 'MATERIA. Wood, Clay, Straw, Concrete', the inaugural exhibition at the newly constructed LWL-Museum Hellerlecht in Detmold, which explores sustainability through four building materials. Additionally, Struth's photographs are included in 'A Thousand Times Berlin' at Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin, marking the museum's 30th anniversary with over 70 works by more than 50 artists, and in 'Passants parmi les Pierres' at fjk3 – Contemporary Art Space, Vienna, curated by Thomas Demand. His photograph of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip will be on view at the National Portrait Gallery's 'Inspiring People' exhibition, which reopened on June 22, 2023.
