Kunstmuseum Schloss Derneburg will present 'Konferenz', a group exhibition featuring over 50 works by German artists Georg Baselitz, Jörg Immendorff, Markus Lüpertz, and A.R. Penck. The exhibition examines how these four artists explored national identity and political fracture in the decades preceding the fall of the Berlin Wall. The presentation includes pieces from Baselitz’s personal collection and archival photographs by Edward Quinn documenting the artist's time at Schloss Derneburg in the 1980s.
