Louisiana Museum of Modern Art to Host 'Basquiat - Headstrong' Solo Exhibition
The Louisiana Museum of Modern Art will present 'Basquiat - Headstrong,' the first solo museum exhibition of Jean-Michel Basquiat's work in Scandinavia. The presentation focuses on a specific group of oilstick drawings on paper from 1981–1983 that center on the motif of the human head. Supported by Kenneth C. Griffin and Griffin Catalyst, the exhibition features works that remained largely unknown to the public during the artist's lifetime.
