MoMA Establishes $200,000 Annual Architecture Prize Funded by Legacy Emilio Ambasz Foundation
The Museum of Modern Art has launched the Ambasz-MoMA Annual Prize for Nature-Reconciled Architecture, a new award dedicated to projects that integrate the built and natural environments. The prize will distribute $200,000 annually, with half awarded to the architect and half donated to a non-profit for tree planting. The inaugural winner will be honored at a ceremony at the museum in late 2026. Eligible projects must have been completed within the last 30 years.
