MoMA PS1 Names Precious Okoyomon for Inaugural Courtyard Commission in New York
MoMA PS1 has selected Precious Okoyomon for the inaugural Courtyard Commission at its Long Island City location. The Nigerian-American artist born in 1993 will create a living forest containing a large-scale interactive bear sculpture developed with the nursery issima. The installation opens July 2026 and invites visitors to enter the bear for a multi-sensory experience before exiting through its mouth.
