Christie's Unveils Graziella Patiño de Ortiz Linares Collection for Paris Sale

via Christie's

On June 22, 2026, Christie's announced that approximately sixty lots from the Graziella Patiño de Ortiz Linares Collection will be offered at auction in Paris on 23 September. The collection, assembled over four decades, focuses on the Régence period and the reign of Louis XV and includes paintings and drawings by Jean-Antoine Watteau, Jean-Honoré Fragonard and Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres, furniture and works of art, and silver with royal provenance. Highlights comprise Watteau's The Enchanted Isle, Fragonard's The Longed-for Moment or Happy Lovers, and pieces previously held by the Getty Museum, the Musée du Louvre and the Château de Versailles.

Christie’s Paris auction of sixty lots from the Graziella Patiño de Ortiz Linares Collection on 23 September tests current appetite for Latin American material at the upper end.
