Pinault Collection to Present Major Photography Survey 'Remember Me' at Bourse de Commerce
Bourse de Commerce — Pinault Collection presents the group exhibition 'Remember Me' featuring around 700 works by more than 70 artists. The show, curated by Matthieu Humery and Lola Regard, includes historical and contemporary photographs from Eugène Atget, Dorothea Lange, Man Ray, Cindy Sherman, Wolfgang Tillmans and Louise Lawler. It is installed throughout the museum as a non-chronological journey that creates unexpected correspondences across genres and eras.
The Signal
The exhibition marks the bicentenary of photography and draws on the Pinault Collection's holdings, which have included significant photography ensembles since 2006. By placing icons alongside lesser-known works without imposed chronology, the presentation underscores the medium's role in memory and its technical and aesthetic range. For collectors and curators the display offers a rare opportunity to assess the depth of one of Europe's major private photography collections.
