On September 17, 2026, Sharjah Art Foundation announced the Early Bird Pass offer for the ninth edition of Sharjah Film Platform (SFP9), an annual festival of independent cinema and experimental filmmaking. The festival will run from October 30 to November 8, 2026, featuring nearly 30 screenings at the Mirage City Cinema, Al Mureijah Square, and other venues in Sharjah. The Early Bird Pass is priced at 40 AED (approx. $11) and includes unlimited access to all films, festival merchandise, and a 500-AED voucher for SAF Shops, available until October 7, 2026. Pass holders can reserve seats at the box office without advance booking for individual films.
