Tate Appoints Daisy Desrosiers as Britton Family Curator at Large, North America
On June 15, 2026, Tate announced the appointment of Daisy Desrosiers as Britton Family Curator at Large, North America. Based in the USA, she will focus on the development of North American art in Tate’s collection through new research and acquisitions. Desrosiers succeeds Christine Y. Kim and previously served as Director and Chief Curator of The Gund at Kenyon College since 2021, where she co-curated the 15th Shanghai Biennale and worked with artists including Vivian Suter, Joan Jonas, Ming Smith, Marie Watt, Alvaro Barrington and Naeem Mohaiemen. The position is supported by the Britton Family Foundation.

The appointment strengthens Tate’s strategy for acquiring North American works and expanding its international curatorial network, enabling deeper engagement with artists, scholars and institutions across the region. It positions Desrosiers to influence how North American art histories are represented in Tate’s collection of over 75,000 works and to contribute to exhibitions at Tate Britain, Tate Modern and other sites while sustaining her role at The Gund.
