Tate Modern Announces Major Tracey Emin Exhibition and London-Wide Neon Billboard Campaign
Tracey Emin’s neon works appear on buildings and billboards at 22 locations across 11 London boroughs until 9 March. The free campaign marks the opening of her exhibition A Second Life at Tate Modern. Texts include I Whisper to My Past do I Have Another Choice and I can Feel You Everywhere. The show runs 27 February to 31 August 2026 at Tate Modern, Bankside, London SE1 9TG.
The Signal
The citywide project extends Emin’s practice of placing first-person neon declarations in public spaces, following earlier installations in Times Square and St Pancras station. For collectors and curators it signals Tate Modern’s strategy of using outdoor displays to broaden access ahead of a major institutional survey, potentially increasing visibility for her work ahead of the exhibition run.
