On September 23, 2026, TEFAF announced the renewal of multi-year agreements ensuring the long-term continuity of TEFAF Maastricht at MECC Maastricht until 2036 and TEFAF New York at Park Avenue Armory until 2031. The extensions build on the 2025 and 2026 editions, which the organization said featured strong sales and a notable international presence of private and institutional collectors. TEFAF Maastricht, held annually since 1988, drew 277 exhibitors and more than 50,000 visitors from 75 nationalities during its eight-day run in 2026. The new contract expands the existing deal that runs through 2027, while the New York agreement secures the fair's flagship U.S. event for an additional five years.
