Thaddaeus Ropac will present a double-gallery exhibition examining the history of Tarot and its impact on artistic production. The first section, Renaissance Symbols, focuses on 15th-century decks commissioned by the Dukes of Milan, while the second section, Modern Visions, traces the influence of the 1909 Rider-Waite-Smith deck. The exhibition features works by contemporary artists including Ali Banisadr alongside historical artifacts to illustrate the medium's evolution from court culture to modern aesthetics.
