Thaddaeus Ropac Milan Opens Exhibition Pairing Works by Marcel Duchamp and Elaine Sturtevant
Thaddaeus Ropac has launched an exhibition titled 'Marcel Duchamp & Sturtevant: Dialogues are mostly fried snowballs' at its recently opened Palazzo Belgioioso location in Milan. The installation features conceptual and appropriation art, including Sturtevant’s 1992 video installation 'Duchamp Ciné' and her replica of Duchamp’s 1920 work 'Fresh Window'. The gallery, which represents over 70 artists and estates, is the first major international contemporary art gallery to establish a permanent presence in the city.
