The Uffizi Galleries will host 'Cera una volta,' the first exhibition dedicated to the Florentine collections of wax sculptural pieces produced between the 16th and 17th centuries, from December 18, 2025, to April 12, 2026. Curated by Valentina Conticelli and Andrea Daninos, the show features approximately 90 works, including a recent acquisition by Gaetano Giulio Zumbo titled 'The Corruption of the Bodies.' The exhibition includes loans from various museums and reunites pieces originally displayed at the Tribuna of the Uffizi and Pitti Palace that were removed in the late 18th century.
