The Facts
On September 7, 2026, White Cube announced a partnership with the Royal Academy of Arts in London to present a display of limited edition prints by Royal Academicians Michael Armitage, Tracey Emin and Antony Gormley. The exhibition, running from September 22, 2026 to March 7, 2027, is installed across the Academicians’ Room and Belle Shenkman Bar in the Keeper’s House. It features lithographs by Armitage and Gormley, and etchings by Emin, all published by White Cube. While the Keeper’s House is normally reserved for RA Members and Friends, the display is open to all visitors who enquire at the membership desk.
The Signal
The collaboration underscores White Cube’s close ties to the Royal Academy and its print-publishing program, which has produced editions by several of Britain’s most prominent contemporary artists. For collectors, the presentation offers rare access to limited-edition works by Armitage, Emin and Gormley within a museum setting, with the added incentive of availability for purchase. The unconventional access policy also signals a strategic effort by the RA to broaden public engagement with its historic spaces.
