Zeitz MOCAA to Present Solo Exhibition by Tuan Andrew Nguyen Exploring Transnational Histories

Zeitz MOCAA in Cape Town will host 'The Other Side of Now,' a solo exhibition by Vietnamese American artist Tuan Andrew Nguyen, from 22 August 2024 to 20 July 2025. The exhibition features three major film works and sculptural objects, including brass singing bowls and embroidered tapestries, that examine the historical links between Vietnam, Senegal, and Morocco. Curated by Beata America, the presentation focuses on narratives of migration and the legacies of the First Indochina War and the American War in Vietnam.
