The Facts
On September 11, 2026, Aguttes announced the third edition of its Aguttes on Wheels auction, Auction & Motion 2026, to be held October 10, 2026 at Autoworld in Brussels. Ten cars will be offered, with estimates from €8,000 to €1.6 million, led by a 1966 Porsche 906 Carrera 6 (est. €1,200,000–1,600,000) from Rudi Klein's collection. Other highlights include a 2005 Gumpert Apollo Prototype (€550,000–750,000), a 1984 Sbarro Super Eight (€120,000–180,000), a 1926 Bugatti Type 38 (€250,000–350,000) and two Ferraris from the 1990s. The cars will be on view October 8–9, 2026 and the morning of October 10 before the 3 p.m. sale.
The Signal
Aguttes' strategy mirrors the art market's emphasis on provenance and rarity: the Porsche 906's documented racing history and confirmed authenticity (via Porsche specialist Andy Prill and Jürgen Barth) are highlighted as key valuation drivers. By spanning an €8,000 Škoda to a €1.6 million Porsche, the sale targets both entry-level and top-end collectors, a tactic familiar in contemporary art auctions. It also positions Brussels as a venue for automotive collectibles, adjacent to the classic-car events in Knokke.
