Artcurial Marrakech Sale Totals €2.2M, Sets World Records for Paul-Elie Dubois and Mona Saudi
Artcurial held its seventh auction in Marrakech on December 30, 2025, generating €2.2 million in sales before a crowd of 100 in-person attendees, 80 telephone bidders, and 120 registered live online bidders. Under auctioneer Arnaud Oliveux, Jacques Majorelle's works sold for €370,500 and €197,604, while Alexandre Roubtzoff's Tunis reached €209,932. Paul-Elie Dubois set a world record at €111,140, and Mona Saudi set a world record with a sculpture that sold for €142,000.
The Signal
The results highlight sustained demand for North African and Middle Eastern modern and contemporary art at the Marrakech venue, where three further sales are scheduled for 2026. Collectors and estates can consign works with deadlines of April 1, September 1, and November 1, 2026, through Artcurial's Paris and Marrakech specialists. The hammer prices for Baya, Hassan El Glaoui, and Pascale Marthine Tayou further illustrate price levels for established regional names.
