Artcurial Reports Record 2025 Results for Orientalist and African Art Auctions at La Mamounia
Artcurial achieved the highest auction results of 2025 for Mohamed Melehi, Hassan El Glaoui, Jacques Majorelle, Alexandre Roubtzoff, José Cruz Herrera, Chaïbia, Aboudia, Otto Pilny, Céline Lepage and Pascale Marthine Tayou. Three world records were set for Mona Saudi, Paul-Élie Dubois and Marion Boehm. A 1900 painting by Jacques Majorelle titled Le fils d’un saint M’rabeth sold for €1,220,119. Auctions at La Mamounia in Marrakech have drawn growing numbers of museums, foundations and collectors since 2019.
