Biography

Rineke Dijkstra is a Dutch photographer who lives and works in Amsterdam.

Her work has been included in the group exhibition Cocktail Prolongé: F. C. Gundlach Special at Deichtorhallen Hamburg, part of the 9th Triennial of Photography Hamburg, presenting works from the collection of F.C. Gundlach that examine how corporeality is staged.

She has been awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society, the 1999 Citibank Private Bank Photography Prize and the 2017 Hasselblad Award.
