The Facts
On October 14, 2026, Galerie Max Hetzler announced that Rebecca Warren's works "Vingt-Cinq" (2006) and "The Lovers" (2003) have entered the collection of the Musée d'Art Moderne, Paris, and are currently on view. The gallery also reported that the Brown Collection in London is presenting "Fail We May, Sail We Must", a group exhibition curated by Glenn Brown and Edgar Laguinia featuring ninety works spanning six centuries. New sculptures by Karel Appel, Hans Josephsohn, and Warren have been unveiled in the Stedelijk Museum's sculpture garden in Amsterdam, and two Warren sculptures from 2017, "Jean" and "Los Hadeans VI", are on long-term loan at the Sainsbury Centre in Norwich, installed alongside works by Henry Moore, Pablo Picasso, and Alberto Giacometti. A catalogue for Warren's 2022 solo exhibition at Belvedere 21 in Vienna is now available for purchase.
The Signal
The acquisition by a major Paris institution and placements alongside modern masters at the Sainsbury Centre and Stedelijk Museum underscore Rebecca Warren's growing institutional recognition. The group exhibition at the Brown Collection, spanning six centuries, positions her within a broader art historical context. For collectors, these developments signal strong market validation and increasing demand for Warren's work across European institutions.
