The Kunsthaus Zürich will open 'Evergreens. Selected Works from the Collection' on September 11, 2026, running through January 10, 2027. The exhibition brings together masterpieces by Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Ferdinand Hodler, Sophie Taeuber-Arp, and Jean Tinguely, among others, in new juxtapositions across 800 square meters in the Chipperfield building. Works are removed from their usual contexts to spark dialogues across eras, with wall texts by Zurich residents—including celebrities—explaining their personal connections to chosen pieces. Highlights include Monet's water lilies, Warhol's 'Big Torn Campbell's Soup Can (Vegetable Beef)', and Francis Bacon's monumental triptych.

The exhibition focuses on the core collections of the Zürcher Kunstgesellschaft and Kunstfreunde Zürich, assembled over more than a century. It follows recent presentations of Alberto Giacometti and the 'ReCollect!' series. During the exhibition's run, from November 27, 2026 to April 18, 2027, the National Museum of Korea in Seoul will show 85 works from the Kunsthaus collection.
