June 15, 2026. Lustwarande in Tilburg opens MATERIAL WORLDS on June 14, 2026, running through September 27, 2026. The exhibition presents work by Nicole Eisenman and Ugo Rondinone among other artists and marks the fifteenth edition of the event as well as Lustwarande's twenty-fifth anniversary. Concept and selection are by Chris Driessen and Manon Braat, with Driessen serving as curator.

The Signal

The show examines current developments in international sculpture through the lens of materiality while addressing themes such as climate change, ecological justice, postcolonialism, identity, and technology. For collectors and curators the presentation signals sustained institutional interest in artists who combine material experimentation with engagement in contemporary social questions, offering context for evaluating recent and upcoming acquisitions in this area.
