Sadie Coles HQ Installs Simon Periton Sculptures at Jubilee Gardens, Wiltshire
On June 15, 2026, Sadie Coles HQ reported the installation of two major new outdoor artworks by Simon Periton at Jubilee Gardens in Warminster, Wiltshire. Titled Teumessian Fox and Laelaps, the large-scale sculptures stand at the eastern and western entrances of the Persimmon Homes residential development. The titles reference Greek mythology in which Zeus transformed the Teumessian fox and the dog Laelaps into the constellations Canis Minor and Canis Major.
The Signal
The placement of Periton’s works in a new residential setting illustrates how galleries are extending contemporary sculpture into everyday public spaces. Collectors may view the project as evidence of sustained demand for site-specific outdoor pieces that connect classical narratives with local landscapes and communities.
