Tate Britain Begins Construction on Tom Stuart-Smith Designed Clore Garden Scheduled for 2027 Opening

Tate Britain has commenced construction on the Clore Garden, a new permanent green space on Millbank designed by landscape architect Tom Stuart-Smith in partnership with the Royal Horticultural Society. The project, funded by the Clore Duffield Foundation and the Julia Rausing Trust, will feature a new classroom, a wildlife pond, and outdoor sculptures from the Tate collection. While the gallery remains open, a temporary art installation by local students and artist Mónica Rivas Velásquez has been unveiled on the site's hoardings.
