On September 21, 2026, White Cube announced the unveiling of Ibrahim Mahama's site-specific installation 'Voyageur' in Piazza Municipio, Naples. The work comprises three wooden boats, approximately 5, 7, and 8 meters high, constructed using traditional Ghanaian models and techniques. Positioned at the center of the square and appearing partially submerged, the installation overlooks the Port of Naples, creating a dialogue between West Africa and the Mediterranean. Presented as part of the Napoli contemporanea programme, 'Voyageur' is curated by Vincenzo Trione and runs from September 21 to November 18, 2026.
