Centre Pompidou Highlights Brancusi’s Danaïde as Part of Major Modern Art Collection
On May 18, 2026, the Centre Pompidou published an excerpt from its catalog Collection art moderne highlighting Constantin Brancusi's Danaïde. The 1913 bronze, patinated black and gilded, measures 27.5 x 18 x 20.3 cm and entered the French national collection via the artist's 1957 bequest.
